Genetic analysis of response to treatment

Based on our successes with multi-award winning BP PensionLine, we were asked to design a self-service pension and benefits portal for Babcock. Our design for the portal was compatible with any back-end administration system. This meant complex functions (e.g. calculations and payroll) were managed by the administration system but less technical functions (e.g. updating personal information) could be performed by pensioners. 

The main objective was to reduce administrators' workloads. This was achieved by transferring certain tasks from administrators to pension members through the use of visually engaging modellers that were user friendly, interactive and informative.

The financial impact of the self-service portal was greatly reduced administration overheads.

The design had been proven with Aquila Administrator in the past and was suitable for the new AON Hewitt administrators.

We provided an interactive web site to assist Arup's employees with their decision making process to migrate from a defined benefit (DB) scheme to a direct contribution scheme. Arup and its partners took a number of steps to engage and encourage its employees to save for their retirement after closing its DB pension scheme in 2010 in support of auto-enrolment.

We were tasked with integrating a communication and decision capture process into BlackRock’s process for migrating Arup’s employees. One of the key objectives was to ensure former DB scheme members understood that the risk was being transferred from the organisation to themselves.

The project also involved providing network support tools and a communications portal for the pension team to easily maintain any online communications. The portal was fully integrated into their single sign on (SSO) authentication systems.

The Barclay's pension portal consisted of a number of gadgets, one of which was maintained by a third party company who were no longer able to support it. We transitioned the tool to a new platform that also permitted future updates through a simple to use configuration file, whilst maintaining all of the 3D interactive styling.
